Issue description:
In Settings-> Interface-> Album Page/Artist Page, sorting strategy “Year(descending)” applied if “Year(ascending)” selected.

You have not uploaded any logs and your screenshot does not show the issue.
And I can assure you that it works correctly.
So please better describe your issue, I have feeling that you do not understand what those settings refers to.
To sort the global lists Sort, filter and configure display modes in library views click again on the sort to change the asc/desc.
