If a song has no rating then gets a rating through an external source (for example musicbee), it updates (displays correctly and works with autoplaylists correctly). When a song has a rating and gets tweaked, the old rating is still displayed, and is what gets used in auto playlists.

Additional information:
I have tried turning on and off every setting that could be related, force stopping the app, resyncing it (after every setting change), to no avail.
The only way I’ve been able to update rating tags was by switching phones entirely (with the same external memory card and same files).
The attached photo is of life is a highway, which I had just attempted to update to be rated 3.5, rather than 4 - this is post sync.
Reproduction steps:
Externally replace a file with one that has a different rating.
You probably have enabled the option to import tag ratings as user ratings. If you want to keep the source in the tags do not enable that and use ratings and not user ratings.
I had tried turning that setting off, but I didn’t know to clear tags - I had just force stopped and resynced. The new ratings are showing up in the details panel, but I can’t find the setting to use ratings over user ratings - I had assumed that that was the ratings as user ratings button within the local library settings panel. I’d assume the setting to use ratings over user ratings, (display them on now playing screen(s) and lists) would be in the database settings or interface settings - does that button exist? Or does the app only support ratings in smart playlists. [I hope this makes sense, and thank you so much for being such an awesome dev] ( ^ω^)
