Song plays through web server, but not on Android Symfonium

Issue description:

I recently bought an Album on Bandcamp and i’m having problems reproducing it from the Navidrome server to Symfonium on Android. The server is running on Ubuntu laptop.

Using Navidrome on the web works without problems, audio reproduces.

Sending the files locally to the phone and adding the local storage as media works and can reproduce the files.

Reproducing the files using Symfonium through the server does not work, the tracks, metadata, cover loads… The files can’t be reproduced or downloaded.

Tried to go through the log files but can’t really see the error. With my tests i assume that the FLAC files are OK and the format is not the problem.

Any idea of what can be blocking the reproduction of the file from the server to Symfonium?

Thanks!

Logs:

Upload description: Songs related to “Monstercat” doesn’t reproduce directly from the server but they will load metadata. File can be open locally from device and through web interface on the server. All other songs on server work properly.

Additional information:

On the image, the Symfonium error says: “Error reproducing the medium, make sure that your player supports it.”

Reproduction steps:

Move files to Navidrome music folder, resync, select Album on Symfonium, try to reproduce the file.

Media provider:

Subsonic

Your server returns invalid data for those check it’s logs and be sure to have the server synced.

And your logs did not have any description so lost time to try to find them

Check the logs on the server or the Symfonium app?

On the Symfonium app i see lots of “Error no valid format to extract amplitudes“, “ERROR_CODE_PARSING_CONTAINER_UNSUPPORTED“, “Error/AudioEngine/1: onPlayerError: 3003 - Source error”.

But the format should be fine because the same file works locally and the server is also able to reproduce the file via web browser interface.

The server synced every time i made the changes and they show every on web and Symfonium app.

Do i have to upload the server log here also?

Thanks for help!

The server logs, it returns invalid data that even ffprobe does not understand so maybe you have forced transcoded and it fails.

This is the log when trying to reproduce from Symfonium:

By all the error logs seems a problem with the “coverArt”/metadata that Symfonium can’t pick up somehow?

I’m going to try delete the image and image related metadata form it and see if it works.

Deleted the cover art from the metadata and now plays, some songs take more time to start but this might be another issue related on how the server is connected to internet.

Now it seems to be working. Thanks for the help.
