There’s not a lot of details and the logs are nearly empty. Just a network issue with the server.

Have you checked the server logs and firewall to see if there’s not some security starting ?

It is just regular Windows 11 folder share. I am pretty sure the setup has no issues as I can connect to it all the time over other apps and devices. Not to mention Symfonium is also connects to it no issue, that is how I managed to add is as a library source but it is inconsistent. I start playing a song from SMB folder, press the power button to turn off the screen of my phone, when the song ends I open it up again to select a new song but the I encounter the server offline error. If you guide me how to do so, I can provide other information (like powershell print) too.

I have disabled the SMB Mulcitchannel feature using the commands you linked. Will be observing the behaviour for a while and report back.

I found the problem and it was not the SMB Multichannel. My router broadcasting both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz on the same SSID. If the device is close it pushes to 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz if getting away. Whenever this band steering happens, Symfonium loses connection. I also have a 2 node wifi mesh setup. With only 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz enabled, I have no issue switching between nodes, playback continues no problem. But the moment band changes, whether due to range or node switch, I lose the connection on Symfonium and it never comes back unless I manually turn off and then on the wifi from my phone. I can not reproduce this issue on other apps like the file manager.

Hi, that sucks. I presume your issue is different than mine because mine hasn’t come back… also I have 5G disabled on my router I only have the 2.4 GHz enabled.

Do you need 5GHz?

Also be sure to follow the guide make sure that you lock the app and make sure it doesn’t have battery optimization… Make sure the symphonium app is always available..

You can also enable always on VPN for the tail scale in your mobile network settings on the phone.

That explains why it probably did not come back.
