Skipping tracks when casting

Issue description

Casting to Chromecast audio, track plays for 3-50 seconds and then skips to the next.
When I stop casting and use bluetooth, the tracks play to their completion and then skip to the next track.
If I cast to Chromecast again, the skipping happens again

Additional information

I have “Casting replay gain processor (Experimental)” turned on.
Using a Pixel 7 with the latest Beta

As all the other duplicates :wink: There’s some network issues.

Is there something in the debug log that jumps out at you that indicates “network issue”?

The error one ? :wink: But in all cases when the media start and it fails in the middle this is 100% a communication issue between the renderer and the server and the path it takes.

I turned “Casting replay gain processor (Experimental)” off and the problem went away. I know this may be coincidental, so I’ll keep testing.

Seems to have only started with this beta - is there an easy way to downgrade to the last stable version without deleting my 7K downloaded tracks?
