Issue description
When playing back tracks and I press the skip track button from expanded player view, I will see the track skip visually and the progress bar showing begin of the new track, however, audibly I will still here the previous track playing.
In this case I’m playing back tracks in original format (FLAC) due to the issue with the transcoding I am having as mentioned in the other support request, and, I do know there is higher latency for me in Orginal Format playback.

Steps to reproduce
- Press track mix
- Let the track play for a while
- skip track
- observe that player shows new track
- Audibly the old track is still playing, but the player shows that new track has begun palying.
