Show overlay icons when tapping blank space in expanded now playing view

Feature description:

I would like to be able to fully view the overlay icons for several seconds when tapping blank space on the expanded now playing view.

Problem solved:

Currently, after a track has been playing for multiple seconds, the overlay icons mostly disappear (on darker album art). This is fine and my preference for them to fade away from being super visible. However, if i want to fully see the overlay icons again, I must pause the track.

Brought benefits:

This will allow users to fully view the overlay icons available to press for a track (without pausing) after the fully visible overlay icons become less visible without toggling the ‘more visible’ overlay icons option.

Additional description and context:

Another possibility would be to have a settings toggle to prevent tapping on album art within expanded now playing view to no longer pause / play, but instead fully view overlay icons for several seconds.

There’s a setting called “Overlay icons visibility” under “Expanded Now Playing” settings. You can set it to “More Visible”.

The question is more why do you want to see them during playback but not all the time?
They are always at the same place so it’s easy to know where to click.

On darker album covers sometimes I go to click the lyrics area and it pauses as the song doesn’t have lyrics available.

I don’t want to always see them that vividly.

Ok so no won’t implement like that, in the future lyrics buttons will be movable and click on the cover may be configurable too.
