Feature description:

Hello,
Great app. I was wondering if you could add an option to select “Play in Background” when creating a shortcut for the homescreen.

Problem solved:

That way the playlist will just play without opening the app.

Brought benefits:

Ability to just click once to play without the need to open the app.

Shortcuts can only start activities and there’s more and more restrictions about starting playback in background :frowning:

Auto closing the activity in background would not bring much.

They are different but you can use the shortcut widget to start a playlist without opening the app.

Thanks for the reply. Any way to change the image on the shortcut widget rather than just an “S”?
