Shield TV app won't play anything

Issue description:

The Shield TV app will not play anything. My Plex account connected successfully to the app and my library shows up many minutes later (it’s a somewhat large library), but nothing plays. The circle around the play button just keeps circling but no music ever comes out. I’ve closed the app and reopened it. Restarted the Shield TV. No change. No music will play. No matter the codec. Nothing works. I get no error message. But nothing plays.

Another issue that I can’t seem to find a setting for is that it mixes all of my libraries. I have three music libraries and they’re separate for a reason. But everything is mixed. Is there a way to separate them or choose just one library at a time? Assuming I can get anything to play…

Your server returns error 400 or 503, check it’s logs to see what is going on.

Hmmm. Here’s what I can see.

I don’t quite understand the errors that are being generated. I’m using that same Shield TV to play music using the official Plex app and sideloaded Plexamp app and I have no issues connecting or playing anything.

The server says it does not find the media.

Did you change things on Plex side and forget to sync on Symfonium side ?

No changes at all. In fact, Symfonium updates and sees new music when it’s added. Just can’t play anything. I suppose I’ll try deleting and reinstalling the app then reconnecting my server.
