See track details by tapping the cover (now playing screen)

Feature description:

I would like to have the possibility in the now playing screen to see the track details when tapping on the cover (unfortunately this option is not yet available).

Yes, there is now also the option to assign buttons to the four corners of the cover.
This is a great idea and alternative, but it would not be conducive to a clear design.

How about the possibility to make these “buttons” invisible?

Problem solved:

Save space for other buttons elsewhere

Brought benefits:

Clear, tidy design and saving space with fewer buttons.
More intuitive.

You can assign track deatails to “Long Press Action” or “Tap Action” in the expanded player which then brings up those details. Having it isolated to the cover art would be pretty neat though.
