Search song queue going back to main list after playing searched song

Feature description

Hi,

Is there an option in the app to search for a specific song within a playlist or queue without changing the playback queue?

For example, if I have a playlist with around 6,000 songs and I search for one particular track, I would like to play that song and then continue listening to the rest of the original 6,000-song queue.

At the moment, when I search for a title and there are, for example, five matching songs, only those five songs remain in the playback queue and the rest of the playlist is removed from the queue. I would prefer the original queue to be restored automatically after the selected song has finished playing.

Is there a setting or feature that allows this behavior?

Thank you.

Problem solved

Currently, using the search function changes the active playback queue. If multiple songs match the search term, only those results remain in the queue, while the rest of the original playlist is removed. This becomes frustrating when listening to very large playlists, as users have to manually restore the original queue after playing the song they were looking for.

Brought benefits

This feature would allow users to quickly find and play a specific track without disrupting their listening session. The original queue would remain intact, making it much more convenient to navigate large playlists containing thousands of songs. It would improve the overall user experience, reduce unnecessary steps, and make the search function more practical for everyday use.

Yes, it exists. , but you shouldn’t ask that here.

Sorry for that, could you point me in the right direction, i look at all settings and couldnt find it anywhere.

You find the song within the playlist and move it to the side; that song is automatically added to the queue.
