Scroll bar zone covers three dots menu for tracks

Issue description:

I recently started using the app and have been adding songs to playlists by tapping the three dots menu to the right of tracks. The only problem is if I don’t wait a few seconds after scrolling before trying to click the three dots menu the scroll bar moves to where I was trying to click the three dots, making me have to find the song again. This is more of a mild inconvenience but if it could be fixed that would be great! I have screen recorded the issue found here: https://youtube.com/shorts/7KbnJHHQx5g?feature=share

I was going to report the same issue since I recently noticed it. I can help providing more info if needed.

Well this is kinda expected as you need to be able to drag the bar to fastscroll or click anywhere to instant jump.

While I can probably disable the click anywhere to instant jump, I can’t disable the drag zone being clickable with a large enough zone. And adding a very large right padding in prevention would just loose too many valuable space.

For me the zone itself is fine, it just takes a bit too long for it to disappear after I stop scrolling, which is why I also often accidentally scroll while trying to hit the 3 dots. However if it’s too short some people might find it hard to hit it on purpose.
Considering how many settings the app already has, adding one to customize this hardly seems worth it. I’d try to make it a bit shorter and see if people stop complaining about hitting it accidentally and start complaining about not being able to hit it on purpose haha.

Yes, I agree, it’s not about the zone, but about proper timing; what I see as an issue is:

  • Right when the bar dissapears, there’s a bit of time the jump is still available, it is just an instant (a few milliseconds probably) but that is what confuses me because I don’t see the bar but the jump still happens.

I’ll disable click on the bar as soon as the hide start and reduce a little the delay.

Should be a little better, but can’t do much more.
