Samba access through mobile hotspot when no internet

Issue description:

I’m evaluating to purchase this app. However I’m facing following issue:

I have a music folder inside a raspberry pi exposed through samba. I have my raspberry connected to my phone hotspot so I can see and browse all that music. However, when my phone does not have internet (no wifi, no mobile data, nothing) but connetion between phone and raspberry is up (i can ping, ssh, etc.) I cannot access the samba server from Symfonium. And the thing is that, in that scenario, I still can access to samba server using some file managers like, for example File Manager +. I tried playing with offline mode in symfonium without success.

Could you confirm I can use my samba server in offline mode? No mobile data, no wifi, just my server connected to my phone hotspot. I repeat again, file managers apps can access samba server without any issue. Symfonium not.

There’s a least 5 messages that explains that this is wrong and they are needed … I do not have your Symfonium version, your settings, and the error you face. It’s impossible to answer rhetorical questions without those details.

By default SMB provider is wifi only have you unchecked the option on the provider? Else please provide the mandatory logs.

Ok after turning on “Automatic offline mode” (the one I knew) and disabling “Wifi only” for samba folder (the one I didn’t know) now I can access even in flight mode. Thanks. I will continue evaluating your app, that looks very nice.
