Feature description
Pressing back often takes me out of the app when I was not intending to do that. I have two suggestions.
1/ that when pressing back WOULD take you out of the app, a temporary popup appears at the bottom of the screen saying “once more to leave app” and if you really intended to close the app, you swipe once more to close the app and it closes. (Tennis temple app has a very good implementation of this)
2/ if you are looking at some artist on your home screen, and you scroll down the page and then tap on an artist there, then you tap on something else on that page, and then later want to return home, so you press back, back, and get to the home screen, but scrolled down to the position you were at when you navigated from the home screen. One more back takes you out of the app but my suggestion is for one more back to take you to the top of the home screen so it’s more obvious that you are on the home screen… making it less likely you’ll press back again and leave the app by mistake.
Problem solved
The suggestions would mean reducing the inadvertent closing or app, returning to desktop on phone, having to find the app again to continue doing what you were doing. (happens very often for me)
Brought benefits
not having to navigate to my app drawer, music folder, symfonium app to reopen it when it closes without that being my intention.
