Hey, so I have recently added artists as a row in my homescreen, but forever it looked like symfonium was ignoring new artists. However, i clicked to display more and as I kept scrolling further and further down the lists, I realized it’s just set to display artists in the reverse order. The first artists to pop up ( and the ones shown on the homescreen) are actually the oldest artists in my collection. The ones alll the way at the bottom are the newest artists. Can this be fixed/reversed, so that the artists at the bottom are actually the first to pop up?

The first screenshot is my homescreen with the oldest artists shown. Also circled the the arrow to display all artists.
The 2nd screenshot is the very bottom of that list, which shows the actual most recently added artists.

I think originally, we assumed that providers were not sending over the proper info, but it seems symfonium just isn’t displaying it correctly. Recently added albums works perfectly, though.
Hey, sorry. Wasn’t sure logs would help anything here, but I’ve uploaded two sets of logs now. One was before adding a new test artist to my library. and the second set of logs are after adding that new artist. the artist is called “SymfoniumTest”. You’ll see in this screenshot that they were added to symfonium at the very bottom of the list, after the newest artist from my original submission above.
I know this was labeled duplicate, because I brought this issue up last year. However, that was closed thinking it was a problem on the provider side. I’m not sure that’s the case.
So to be clear we have proven to you that it’s a provider limitation with facts, but somehow you “think” differently so I should loose even more time on this?
Time is most valuable thing, that you can’t get back or purchase …

So again: Subsonic does not have the notion of date added or date created for artists, so Symfonium have no way to know and sort by that for Subsonic provider …
Um, Im not meaning any offense by any of this, so sorry if it’s come off that way?
But whether its from lms or symfonium, the artists are being sorted accurately by date added. They’re not being ordered randomly. It’s just displaying the oldest ones first.
