Issue description:
Hello,
I would like to know if it’s possible to perform a quick scan of the library instead of always doing a full scan each time a new album or track is added, because after a certain number of tracks, the scan becomes extremely long.
Kind regards.

Additional information:
Reproduction steps:
Media provider:
pCloud
Screenshots:
There’s no logs uploaded …
Provide the mandatory logs during a sync …
Next time do it directly so I do not loose time searching for a non existing log thanks
Anyway how many files do you have in pcloud? The sync does not finish and the app is killed by the OS.
Sorry.
Almost 13 000 tracks.
I’ve sent the log file during sync. The sync wasn’t finish.
I wonder if it’s normal for the application to scan the entire library? Doesn’t it only scan new folders?
The data is cached but it needs to scan the folders to actually find the new ones
13000 is nothing but your phone does not log why it kills the app, see Capture and read bug reports | Android Studio | Android Developers so I can see why your phone kills it.
And a new and full log file now.
They do not match.
I need a bug report just after the app crash. The logs are from 8:18 and the bug report 09:04
It’s done.
Sorry for this mistakes but it is not easy for me
Thansk for your patience.

I don’t see any crash in the dump and in the previous logs you actually killed the app by changing the setting for persistent image cache.
and regarding the library update? I have activated the automatic update option but I don’t see the difference.

There’s no automatic update for pCloud. As said the scan just scan the new files.
Can you provide an actual proper logs of the full scan?

No that’s a bug report
I need logs from Symfonium enabled before starting a sync and uploaded after the sync is finished. Provide a video too so I can see .

Ok got the last upload.
So this is caused by the massive amount of external LRC files you have, the scanner is currently not optimized for this use case.
Okay. Thanks for your reply and your work. Your app is really well done. Last question, do you think it’s possible for an update to fix this slowness due to LRC files?

Not easily but I’ll keep this open.
Would putting the lyrics in the embedded file be faster to scan than with LRC extensions?
