Issue description
Not specific to Beta 3, I think I first noticed it in Beta 1. (Possibly not even Beta-related.)
Sometimes applying an App Style that
- uses a different Color theme and
- is set to the opposite Light/Dark mode
will fail to actually change to the opposite mode, e.g. it says Dark Mode but is displaying Light Mode colors.

Steps to reproduce
Nothing exact, this happens randomly. Most reliable way so far: (see attached GIF)
Save two color themes (C1 & C2). Save one AS with C1 using Light mode and another AS with C2 in Dark mode. Close app completely (e.g. open Recent Apps and swipe it away).
Re-open app and apply the opposite AS repeatedly a few times (e.g. apply Light AS → apply Dark AS → loop). If it doesn’t fail within 2-3 loops, close app completely and try again.
Additional information
Temporary only. The app will have the correct colors after closing and relaunching it. Manually toggling Light/Dark mode also corrects the issue.
I never saw this before 15B1 but I also had only been using a single color theme. Now happens to me randomly when changing to an AS that uses a different color theme.
GIF capture limited to 15s so the screenshot shows bugged state, where Dark is toggled but Light colors are used. Note the Status Bar text is White (not hidden), so the app is still correctly reporting Dark mode to the OS.
