Prevent direct access to media providers settings on source error

Feature description:

Ask for Settings PIN code before going to media providers settings in case of errors.

Problem solved:

Wenn there is a media source error, currently it is possible to bypass the Settings PIN code and to go directly to the media providers settings (and view the configuration and password) by touching the error message. Please see screenshot.
I highlighted the button which is directly linked to the media providers settings.

Brought benefits:

More security and better protection of the media provider’s password also in case of any errors.

I’ll hide the button if there’s a pin code configured.

Thank you for your reply.

It may be better to have the PIN prompt. People like me using 2FA may need to append an token to their media provider’s password regularly.
So both the error info and the link/button to the media provider are already very useful.

Without the button a 2FA user would need to navigate to the media provider via the normal settings each time they need to refresh their token. This would mean a lot more regular effort.

I closed the security issue, handling the pin code there would be a lot more complex for 0,00001% need.

Then how about linking to the settings or another closer entry point to get to the media provider which already has the PIN implemented?

Yes I can do that too.

Thank you for considering. :+1:

Because I don’t want to feel quite so unimportant as a 2FA user:
With me being the only 2FA user with Symfonium, it would be at least 0,0002 % need.

The problem is not 2FA many uses that, nearly no provider needs to update the 2FA code, they all work via oauth and tokens for that. Your need is specific.
