Plex playlist

Issue description:

I was using PlexAmp but it has started skipping sections of the audio (sounds choppy) but the files are fine from my server as they work on my desktop.

I found Symfonium so installed it and have sync’d my Plex playlist but it is big.

So my specific example is I have a Plex smart playlist (loads of filters to exclude the kids and my wife’s music) that essentially after a play of a track the track is deleted, so I am listening to my entire collection in alphabetical order. So once “A” artists have played they no longer appear.

So with Plexamp I can see the playlist but it does not download it and it could stream and the queue is cached so that it is only ever 15 or so tracks in case you have patchy signal.

With Symfonium it has downloaded 60gb of music to my phone killing my storage space. Can I sync a playlist so that it streams and does not download? (Or download the next 10 songs in the playlist?)

Thanks

If you enable cache on a playlist all the playlist will be cached.

What you want is the playback cache and pre loading + eventually rolling cache and auto copy to it.

And depending on the need, recreating the smart playlist inside of Symfonium is a lot more efficient.
