Plex album art vanishes when offline / on 5G (Persistent Cache enabled)

Issue description

Album artwork displays fine while connected to local Wi-Fi, but ~75% of it disappears when switching to 5G or Airplane Mode and restarting the app.
​What I’ve already done:
​Persistent image cache: ON
​Automatic image cache (Plex provider): ON
​Battery optimization: Set to Unrestricted
​Cache location: Internal Storage
​App uninstalled and cleanly reinstalled.
​Performed a full sync on Wi-Fi and left the app open/scrolled through the library for 30 minutes to populate views.
​Behavior:
It seems like artwork is only rendering into active RAM/memory cache while connected to local Wi-Fi, but fails to write persistently to internal phone storage for offline use.
​Any ideas on why Plex images aren’t writing to the disk cache, or what settings am I missing?

Update - removed and uninstalled a second time, but left the original skin until sync and cache were complete. Then I changed the skin to my preferred config. This seems to have worked, quite strange but ok.

Update 2 - the problem is back! Only a few hours later, I had was out of range briefly and half my albums are suddenly missing their cover art. Any ideas?

Your log is nearly empty and does not reproduce anything so it’s hard to know anything.

Usually this is because you have some optimizer apps on the device that remove the cached files.
