Playlist and Scan Issue

Issue description

I did a rescan, since some of my songs weren’t displaying the lyrics I embedded, and all of a sudden, my songs stopped showing metadata such as artist and album. I had the playlists cached, so I cleared them and tried to redownload them, but it didn’t see any songs to download.

My server is working fine. Nothing has changed. Rescaning only shows ~90 files as opposed to the ~16k I have.

But the file browser shows and plays the songs without issue. The scanner just doesn’t see them and the playlists will play them, but minus the metadata and refuses to download.

Your server only return 94 songs. I can’t invent the rest check it’s status.

But what I don’t understand is how it can still play the songs. It only scans “94”, and I can’t search, but the file browser function can see and play them just fine.

It is a bug on your server. You can try to enable compatibility mode on the provider settings to workaround maybe. But AirSonic still do not really show any interest in joining Open subsonic and improve it’s behavior.

I did a bit of digging, and it looks like my database had been corrupted somehow. Oddly enough, DSub and Ultrasonic worked. After exporting all of my playlists and reinstalling, the problem was solved. Thank you, and I apologize for any trouble I have caused!
