Player looks like it alternates between two tracks

Issue description:

Hi,
My player seems to alternates between two tracks.
The tracks only skips visually, not the audio, but it sometimes plays the second track twice. It happens with the widget too. I don’t know how to describe this in details, I made gifs.

It doesn’t happen for a while when I pause and resume or when I skip manually, but it always comes back eventually.

Sorry if this issue has been posted before, I didn’t find anything with the keywords I thought of. The problem might come from Sonos but I wanted to check.

I’m using the latest version of the app (13.0.0) and I’m on Android 14. I use Symfonium a lot with UPnP (Sonos).
It affects my listening history (listenbrainz) too.

I need logs reproducing the issue, there’s nothing playing in those logs.

This does look like a gapless issue on the device. You can try to disable gapless in the cast dialog settings for that device.

I sent back the updated logs, sorry about that. It should show what happens at 12:49 at least.
I’ll disable gapless and update the topic if I see any change, thanks.

It seems like i can’t disable gapless on my sonos device, if that’s what you meant. Is there anything else in the logs that could point to some other issue? Thanks

You need to disable inside Symfonium in the cast dialog, press the settings button near the upnp device.
