Player bug when sonos finds unplayable file

App version

Beta

Issue description

Hi again! I have a sonos era 100L and some songs are unplayable. I assume it’s due they are avobe 44,1kHz, but not entirely sure (it happens with any 96kHz track I have). The songs play fine on device.
When a song is unplayable, it flips back and forth with the next one (I uploaded a video via file sharing with description containing “sonos_unplayable_media”)

Is there some sample rate compression otion to play the songs with sonos?

Device type

Phone

Media provider

Emby

Steps to reproduce

1 connect with a sonos speaker
2 play a 96kHz file and queue any other file

I searched existing issues first

I understand that logs are mandatory

Log upload name / description

sonos_unplayable_media

I need the logs are the checkbox you checked explains

My bad! The logs weighted more than 100Mb. I didn’t wait for the toast message confirming the upload (I might or might not left debug mode enabled by accident) I sent them via file sharing with “The logs for sonos_unplayable_media” as description

The issue happened today, 2026-06-23. I can try to recreate it if the logs are too big

Seems Emby does not accept the sonos transcode profile. Will fix for next release.
