Playback won´t start when casting to upnp

Issue description:

While casting to Yamaha wxc-50 or R-N602 with upnp, playback won´t start.

Everything worked like it should few months ago when I had the free trial period, but after I paid for the licence it hasn’t worked.
 

Reproduction steps:

 
Select Yamaha from casting window and press play. It quickly pauses playback and won´t start. If I select my phone from the casting window everything works as it should.

There’s a lot of different things in the logs.

Your server returns a lot of errors 2025-02-10 00:41:36.555 Error PlexLogger Request Error (0/0): 404 [<html><head><title>Not Found</title></head><body><h1>404 Not Found</h1></body></html>]

So the media are probably no more at their proper location there.
Try to force sync or check Plex logs for why.

You tried to enabled proxy mode but it’s not useful either here.

It probably still work locally due to playback or offline cache but logs don’t show local playback to know for sure.

I tried reinstalling the app and connecting with plex again but now I can’t restore my licence. I disabled adblocker and tried to purchase it again and restared the phone but it won´t restore.

From the logs it seems the license is working.

I uploaded new logs. Those should include that playback works with local device. I made a new plex server and deleted this app and problem is still there.

So now that there’s no more errors it’s an issue between the device and plex, probably dns or ssl certificate that the device does not know about.

You can enable proxy mode in Symfonium on the renderer to workaround those.
