Ive recently been having issue with playback. I can be listening fine and then seemingly random songs will fail to play and cause future songs to also fail until playback ceases due to too many errors.
I also found by seeking further into a song it forces the same error which is what can be found in my log.

Additional information:
I can only resume play by holding down play and starting a new session. The error eventually starts again.
I think you’re right as when I’m playing original quality, tracks which were failing play fine. I’ll see if I can find anything in the emby logs. Will report back my findings.
Hi Tolriq, I’ve just uploaded a new log highlighting a sequence of tracks succeeding and failing to play. The tag should be “geomusicmaker transcoding error”.
Just wanted to check something with you. Does Symfonium use HLS or progressive transcoding?
I think the issue may be that Emby is transcoding too quickly (due to track length or small file size) and Symfonium isn’t getting its stream request to it in time before the transcoding job has closed. This would be a problem if it’s only using progressive streaming as it wants a stream rather than a completed file.
Seeing as you update Symfonium far more frequently, I wondered if there was any adjustment you can make on your end to either speed up Symfonium’s request or ask the Emby server for more time?
