Playback instability with Google Drive

Playback instability with Google Drive

Logs:

Upload description: Playback instability with Google Drive

Additional information:

Since my SD card failed, I have migrated my library to Google Drive. However, I am experiencing consistent playback interruptions. Playback frequently stops before an album or playlist finishes; sometimes it stops after two tracks, and other times it lasts longer.

Key Details:

Device: Samsung Galaxy A54 (Android)
Media Source: Google Drive (MP3 files only)
Output: Occurs on both Chromecast and Bluetooth.
Troubleshooting performed:
Battery settings are set to “Unrestricted”.
"Don’t Kill My App" benchmark result: 100%.

Clearing the playback cache provides a temporary fix, but the issue eventually returns.
Deleting other queues does not resolve the problem.

Behavior:

When playback stops, the current queue becomes unresponsive. Clicking the “Play” button in the ‘Select Media Queue’ does not resume the track. I am forced to select a different album entirely to trigger playback again.

Could you please advise if this is a known buffering/API issue with Google Drive, or if there are specific cache/network settings within Symfonium I should adjust?

Reproduction steps:

Playback stopped before the album finished. Under ‘Select Media Queue’ I clicked the current cueue and then clicked the play button, but it wouldn’t play. I repeated a couple of times, but it wouldn’t play. I then selected another album and it played.

Media provider:

Google Drive

Logs contains a lot of days and things

Near the end all I see is casting to Chromecast with network issues and not from the cache.

Google Drive is one of the worst provider API and stability wise.
