I Think it could be nice to show the track tags under the about section for albums similar to the way all the moods & genres are shown.

Personally I use the track tags for a few things. The most notable is “content” I tag my files with the topics or content they touch on. In this instance it would be nice to see all the “content” covered in any given album.

In screenshot 1 I have symfonium up (emulated) & at the bottom of my album description I have listed all of the “content” tags for this whole album. To the left is my tag panel in MP3 Tag to show that the values in “content” just get funneled into TRACK_TAGS

I can’t speak to what other users are doing with TRACK_TAGS, but for me & potentially some others, the ability to view & interact with those tags in the album about section could prove useful.
Moods and style are actually affected to albums and for other providers could be different from the tracks moods and styles, so they can be used to navigate.
Tracks only metadata can’t be used to navigate for albums so can’t exist.
TRAGIC indeed, guess they’ll have to stay in my album descriptions. I like keeping the content as a per track tag just so I can find specific tracks more easily rather than finding an album & then looking for a specific song on said album, but you’re not wrong one could utilize album tags & thus problem solved.
This gives me an idea though
I think what i might do in MP3tag is if a content tag matches on every song of an album then I’ll auto add that specific Tag as an album tag.
For me I feel like an album level tag should be something that remains true for every track on said album, rather than a general / broad statement about the album
Am I correct in thinking the tag for album tags is ALBUM_TAGS?
That does not seem to be working for me, the album not being picked up navigating from the library view, and the tag not showing up in the album about section
