Hi, this may be a niche one, or maybe others will find it useful, I don’t know.
I almost only ever use the ‘Clear remaining queue’ function, rather than the ‘Clear queue’ function, since they functionally achieve the same thing, except the former doesn’t end the currently playing song. If I want to end the whole queue I will hold the play button to stop playback.
My request is to have the option to bind ‘Clear remaining queue after current playing song’ to the bottom right action button on the queue screen. This is because it’s sometimes an option I need to press in a hurry, sometimes while walking or in a busy social situation, in order to make sure that the vibes are not ruined by the next song on shuffle, and to give myself time to select an appropriate one.
The current means of getting to this option is via the three dots next to the appropriate song on the queue, which makes perfect sense and is implemented perfectly (thank you again for that). In those pressurised situations, however, it can be a little fiddly/difficult to get to and activate. I would really appreciate it if there was an option to make the easiest to reach command on the queue screen (via the FAB button) was to ‘Clear the remaining queue after the current song’.
I recognise that you make think this is redundant, but it would genuinely increase my quality of life using the app. I also recognise that this raises the question of where would the ‘Clear queue’ command be moved to and this may be a headache (somewhere among the toolbars would make sense for me). Personally, I think this option would not be required in the setup I described, but I imagine perhaps you might disagree.
So again, I understand if this is one you don’t want to implement, but I would very much appreciate it!
