Option to display lyrics overlay over portion of now playing

Feature description:

As the description suggestions, I think it would be a good feature to add the ability to display a dimmed lyrics overlay in the now playing screen, over the cover art perhaps. I think this would only make sense for lyrics that are synced.

I envision something close to how Kodi does this exact same thing, but I’m sure there’s other creative ways as well.

Brought benefits:

For people that care to view lyrics while they’re listening to music it would give the option to view lyrics for a song and also have the option to control playback on the same screen and also enjoy the cover art.

Secondary to this… is there a way the lyrics could be cast to Googlecast?

Well needs to write a complete custom Google cast receiver to support that. Html, JS, CSS that I hate with bad Google documentation.

I Was just about to create a request for this, similar to oto music player I think this could look really nice in Symfonium

This is how I envision it looking, with this you could retain all the functionalities of the now playing screen while still viewing & interacting with the lyrics. I think in this view there would need to be a “close” button placed in the space above the title, below the lyrics which I didn’t include mostly due to my poor photoshop skills.

This is how it looks in Oto (They have significantly less settings regarding the views of lyrics) but the design aspects can be better appreciated in this image compared to my mockup.
