On Android TV, song randomly outputs no sound

Issue description:

I installed Symfonium on my Android TV and it works well, except that sometimes, when a new song starts, there is no sound. I can tell the song is playing, but it’s like I’m on mute. To fix it, what I have to do is go to the Equalizer - DSP menu, and turn off the Processing engine (I’m using custom EQ settings, using the 15-band EQ, the Virtualizer, and I have “Enable system equalizer” on; everything else in that section is off). When I do that, the sound comes back. I can then reenable the processing engine and the song will continue playing. This happens every few songs. I’ve been troubleshooting that problem and have enabled debugging. The last time this happened was on 2025-12-13 at 14:26:36, and the song I was attempting to play is “Summer String.mp3”

Unfortunately those tools are OS libraries and I do not have much control over them :frowning:

Try to only enable the EQ or the virtualizer and see if it still occurs. You can also try to disable the option prefer internal decoder just in case.

Thanks for the quick reply. I disabled the virtualizer and turned off the “Enable system Equalizer” option, since that one doesn’t seem to change my sound anyway. So i’m just using the EQ. I’ll let you know if it still happens.
