Just a simple question with something I cannot find out. How to get a more contrasting color on the “now playing” screen?
I really like the screenshot in the play store which is playing “Crustacean Rhapsody” but I cannot get my Symfonium to look like this. In my install it extracts a much lighter color from the album art. I really like that more darker style where the icons also become white. I tried all the settings in interface → theme, fonts and colors.
Is it just a custom theme which has matching colors for the album or is it, as I assume, auto-generated? The options for “Now playing color source” all generate (nearly?) the same color.

From what I can tell the now playing screen takes either the vibrant or dominant color & makes a gradient with white or “charcoal” depending on whether your device is in light / dark mode. The gradient itself seems to stay pretty much the same no matter what options I chose but the colors that appear in the library navigation as well as the icons in the now playing do seem to change a bit nore drastically (depending on the album
I have noticed many albums have similar return of vibrant & dominant colors this seems normal to me though as I also use KLWP to grab colors from album art for my wallaper & I feel the colors returned (on average) are about the same in Symfonium & KLWP.
We have no control over the gradient used though. So making a higher contrast gradient is thus far not in our control which I assume is to make sure text & UI elements will always remain easily visible no matter what vibrant / dominant color is plucked.
My KLWP wallpaper isnt so conservative & I must admit from time to time elements of the wallpaper are hard to read
