Now Playing screen hangs at 2/3 full screen when expanding/shrinking

Issue description:

Hi. I’m loving the new Now Playing customization options with version 12.
One minor quirk that has appeared is a consistent “hang” when the Now Playing screen crosses a point about 2/3 of the way up in portrait mode.
Restarting from the default values, simply changing the background style to “blur” triggers this behavior.
Reverting back to “solid theme surface color” results in the expected smooth gliding animation.

Logs:

I do not see any hang or anything wrong in the video you posted.

That’s odd, it appears quite noticeable to me when re-watching the screen recording.
This screenshot is near the exact vertical spot where it’s happening within the video, close to the top edge of the row of “Play”, “Shuffle”, and “Play next” buttons on the Album view in this case:

I’m not sure if “hang” is the best way I can describe it. It’s like the Now Playing screen is catching on something as it crosses that spot, or the animation is being somehow interrupted both on the way up and down. There’s a noticeable difference in the animation when blur is enabled versus any of the other available background styles on this device-- “Solid theme surface color”, “Solid adaptive color”, “Gradient theme color”, “Gradient adaptive color”, “Album art”, and even “Blurry” all behave normally. It’s only “Blur” where this glitch presents.

I tried to also test on the phone I just upgraded from, a Galaxy Note 9. But it lacks the “Blur” option, likely due to it being stuck on such an old version of Android.

This is obviously minor, and perhaps specific to this S25 Ultra. I’m happy to provide anything else that might expose the behavior more clearly, especially if anyone else reports seeing the same thing.

It’s more than minor and I still mostly can’t see it nor reproduce.
Your phone probably have a small issue generating the blurred image during a refresh.
Not much I can do here anyway.
