Now Playing Screen "Full" overlay is buggy

Issue description:

There’s a couple of issues with the now playing screen “full” overlay.

  1. Increasing or reducing the transparency has no effect on the transparency level.

  2. Normally, with a (very) light album cover, increasing transparency past 60% would result in text and buttons turning black (if they were set to the “default” colour option) and reducing it back to 59% and below would set them back to white. However on the new beta, while the overlay transparency doesn’t change, the text and button behaviour still changes. The main issue is that reducing it back to 59% doesn’t turn the buttons back to white and you have to restore a previous save of your now playing screen to reset the issue.

Additional information:

This issue also occurs when you turn off the overlay entirely and save and then put it on again, or if you set the overlay to anything that isn’t full and then set it back to full.
See Screenshots below :backhand_index_pointing_down:t6:

Screenshot 1: Overlay Transparency set to 0%

Screenshot 2: 59%

Screenshot 3: 61%

Screenshot 4: 100%

Reproduction steps:

Set the full overlay on your now playing screen and afterwards increase its transparency to 61%+ and save then try to reduce it and save. PLEASE NOTE THIS WAS TESTED WITH THE BLUR BACKGROUND AND ONLY OCCURS ON VERY LIGHT ALBUM COVERS.

You need to reselect the overlay type to switch to the new one (Option should have been hidden).

Will fix the color change with the new type.
