Issue description:
Hi,
So over the years I have built a large flac music library on my PC’s HD and I have come to the conclusion I want to normalize the data into a more standard convention. I’m using a tool but after a trial of doing many folders/albums at once I have decided to just do one at a time. I use Windows to share the root folder where all the albums are located, then use Plex Media Server to connect. I then typically, before Symfonium, used my IOS “MusicStreamer” app that connnects to the share directily and then stream from my ipad to my music system via BT. But now I use Symfonium since it does not use BT but instead it casts directly to my WiiM Ultra. The first album I did was 311 Greatest Hits (top of the list sorted A-Z name). This was under my root share “Music NAS” folder so what I did was copy the entire folder 311 Greatest Hits to a temp folder. Under this 311 Greatest Hits was 17 tracks/songs but they were missing many tags and also the naming was not the greatest. I loaded MusicBrainz Picard and run a scan and normalized where it did a better naming convention and added tags. Then I saved. So back on my share original share I created an artist sub folder under Music NAS called 311, then under it created the album folder 311 Greatest Hits, then under it I copied over the normalized track/songs from the output of MusicBrainz Picard to this new folder. I then confirmed all the sharing and security of these new folders and the files were the same as other albums in my library that still work and then did a rescan of my library in Plex. My first test was Symfonium but it says an error really briefly at the bottom of the screen about can’t play the file, I had debug on and have submitted logs via the app just a few mins ago. So then I opened my MusicStreamer app on my ipad, did a rescan through it and now the album art and other tags are coming through which is what I want to see and it plays just fine there. I finally tried playing directly from the Plex Media Server web interface on the PC hosting all the files and it works there. So I’m missing something with Symfonium so that’s why I’m here to ask for help. Thank you.
