Hello, I’m new to the app so please let me know if I’m misunderstanding things.
So I have my songs with embedded static lyrics in my Plex server, in which I turned on the option to get synced lyrics via LyricFind. When I played my songs directly via Plex, I was able to confirm that the synced lyrics were displayed properly.
Then comes in the Symfonium app, I connected it to my Plex music library, and I was able to get synced lyrics when streaming the songs from my Plex server. But when I turned on the option to cache the songs offline and then play them, the songs output “No lyrics”.
I can understand if I didn’t get the synced lyrics, because it might need an internet connection to connect to LyricFind, but I also didn’t get the embedded static lyrics that I have put into my mp3 files. I’m confused. Is this behavior expected from playing songs through offline cache?

Additional information:
Wanted to add a screenshot of the lyrics showing on my Plex but somehow got the message “There was an error loading the lyrics” (probably some problem from LyricFind). Will update the post with the screenshot once the issue is resolved.
Hmm weird. I spent almost an hour debugging back and forth. It seems that every time my Plex music server is displaying the message “There was an error loading the lyrics”, the lyrics in my app also stopped working. I probably need to fix the issue on my Plex server side first. Probably there’s something wrong with my connection to LyricFind.
Anyway, I never knew that offline music files from Plex have their embedded lyrics metadata stripped. Such a strange interaction.
Yes in a couple of cases Plex removes the metadata when downloading, and if I use the playback endpoint it shows in the interface and sometimes breaks resume points or playcount
But yes if Plex does not return the lyrics after the download they can’t be saved on Symfonium side.
