Issue description

Hallo, i send you my log about the connection error smb. i can not connect to my NAS via smb. there seems to be something with ports. perhaps the log shows you something.

You enter the wrong values. Have you seen the help ? Samba (SMB v2/v3) - media provider configuration

yes I did.

first field is IP. but I have to enter the form http://192.168.178.35 and not pure IP, if described. otherwise it is rejected.

second field is name GROSSHIRN

third field is a bit tricky. the real path is Heldenhome/Musik. but you don’t describe if you support multiple directories and if a leading slash is needed.

please describe it.

You can’t enter http:// for smb that makes no sense.

And yes subfolders are supported.

Provide logs when entering just the IP and screenshot of exactly what you enter.

this is the screenshot. in this situation there is no button to activate or send log.

And the message says that the share name does not seem to exist on the server are you sure it’s the actual name of the sahre ?
