When streaming from my Plex server on mobile data, the next song in the queue does not start playing automatically. I have this issue 90% of the time, sometimes it works, and sometimes it just takes a while to play.
If I press ‘Skip’, the next song plays immediatly.

Be on mobile data. Play a queue of songs that are not cashed. Wair for the end of the forst song. The next doesn’t start playing.
Thanks for your quick help! This fix helped with the problem initially, but the next day I ran into the same problem again.
Is there any way I can prevent Plex from generating those “bad” mp3’s? I can’t find any specific conversion settings for music in Plex, only for video.
The problem is occurring quite consistently, so I guess it’s a structural problem.
I cleared the playback cache and the app automatically restarted. Then, I played another song streaming over mobile data, so Plex should convert it (the bitrate checks out too). But, I got the same problem again with the next song not playing. I uploaded the logs again.
Interestingly, the length of the song is shown incorrectly in the UI, like in this screenshot (this is when I generated the logs):
The log is empty, you need to enable the logs then reproduce the issue.
Plex is supposed to produce opus not MP3, their MP3s are invalid causing the issue. Just need to find out why on your case it generate MP3 when it should not.
Sorry, my bad. I activated debug mode and uploaded new logs. Plex indeed sometimes makes MP3s, but the issue also persists when OPUS files are streamed. I’ll look into Plex settings and see what I can do there.
