Navigation Button to bring “now playing screen” back to full display after it got minimized
What for just click the player?
in the spirit of customization , don’t see why not ?
For the same reason there’s not a button that makes flowers rain on the screen.
Features needs to make sense, or fit needs or improve things.
I’m running the app on the Android AI box on a car.
And the reason is that to bring back “now playing screen” too small to aim with your finger while you driving.
Does that make sense? Or improve the functionality?
Next time fill the template properly?

The now playing height is the same height as nav rail buttons so still not logical.
here you go… on the Nav bar landscape mod as we all know you can choose what shortcut to display.
I was thinking to call it “Player” or “Now Playing”
I believe with the over all amazing customization of the app you can make it to be the best Music App for Android Auto radio / Android Ai box.
Cars Media Players and other functions are usually big Icons and clear direct short cuts to target screens.

So the compact player bar is displayed correctly and it’s height is larger than a button in the rail would be.
I’m sorry but I don’t see the point here, the rail is for navigation and so when you click button the player close, I don’t see any value to rewrite everything to handle a case that does not bring anything except not having to move the finger 1/2 cm to the right to reach the same action.
can it be double tap on the “Home” if that can make it simple in coding?
