Issue description:
I randomly get an issue when I am done adding more music to the folder on my phone.
The music is not visible despite the files being there just fine. On my PC the music files are not corrupted they are playable. I even did a sync successfully but nothing. The closest I have done to alleviate this before was to rechoose the local folder as my source but that restarts all my recent music activity including play count and I do not want to do that again.
Please help I love this app but this is becoming a major obstacle.

I’ve had this issue a few times (no bug report because I couldn’t reproduce reliably).
The root issue in my case was that the folder with my music is disabled in the “Source Filter” menu.
But the problem is, if you only have one folder available in the source you cannot tap the folder name to re-enable that source.
Quick solution: add a second folder to scan. (Any folder, it doesn’t need to have any music.) This will allow you re-enable your main folder in “Source Filter” menu so that you can see your library again.
Yeah weird I can’t replicate this consistently either the only thing that starts it for me is when I add a music via file explorer like usual. But randomly.
Where can I find the “Source Filter” option? Will doing the second folder solution, reset my source folders playback stats, like the track count stuff?

I’m 99% sure it shouldn’t reset any play stats since you’re not changing the main folder, but don’t quote me on it.
I think did what you suggested, adding another folder for the scan to have the source filter enable the right folder, and it did not work unfortunately. I did a sync all and nothing.
Was this how you did your quick solution or am I just boned?
You have the whole device hidden (see the crossed eye next to Local Device?)
Tap the name Local Device to show the media. Then you can tap the “Music Staging” label to turn the Folder on/off.
