Sorry but it is hard to describe it using words, I will try my best.
When playing tracks in a media queue, randomly, it would have 2 tracks repeatedly swapping between each other (the UI only). However, at the same time, the playback is still ongoing without issues. So basically I am still listening to the correct track, but the UI just keep swapping between tracks. This happens randomly when I cast the audio to sonos. Not sure if it also happens when not casting. When clicking on another track, the play queue gets back to normal. Such issue happens every several times a day.
It also seems that stop casting can make the queue back to normal. I actually cast to 2 sonos devices at the same time, not sure if this helps when you do the troubleshooting, but I have a feel that the casting causes this issue.
When casting a queue of tracks to sonos, randomly, the UI of currently played tracks or the UI of the queue view would start swapping between 2 tracks automatically. For example, now it shows playing track 1, and 1 second later, it shows playing track 2, and then 1 second later, it shows playing track 1 again.
At the same time, the progress bar of the playing track is still going, and the track is still playing (only playing 1 track, not swapping between 2).
I actually cast tracks to 2 sonos devices at the same time (join device 2 into device 1’s group in symfonium).
I guess that the sync handling or something between the 2 sonos devices is having issues in symfonium which causes the issue.
Can’t reproduce on my sonos, do you think you can find a repro ? Do you do anything special when it happens versus not happening ? Like albums vs playlists or shuffle or not , anything ?
