Media notifications appears on Android boot

Issue description:

I noticed that after Android boots, and there was previously media present in the queue, symfonium’s media notification appears uninvoked, regardless whether it was open previously. The only way to alleviate this is to clear the queue or force quit the app before restarting. Otherwise I haven’t found a way to disable this quirk.

This is on Android 14. Possibly related to this issue, which I am also experiencing:

This is normal and explained in a couple of issues.

Symfonium supports media resuming so the OS automatically restart the app and so reload the queue after a reboot.

If your device does not offer the do not pin media session settings then there’s not much to do.

Thanks for the response. If you’re referring to this screen, I currently have the option unchecked.

Then the media session should disappear after the restore that’s strange.
