Media notification keeps reappearing after stopping playback

Issue description

Hello Symfonium Support,

I am experiencing an issue with Symfonium on my Android device.

When I stop playback, or even force-close the app through the task manager, the media playback indicator/notification in the status bar (the playback window at the top) briefly disappears.

However, after that, it keeps coming back on its own, even though no music is playing anymore and the app has already been closed.

So in short:

Playback is stopped The app is force-closed via the task manager But the media playback/status bar indicator still keeps reappearing

This seems incorrect because there is no active playback anymore.

Could you please check what might be causing this, or if there is a setting or fix for it?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Mark

So you have found all the duplicates that explains that you just need to enable the option disable media session restoration to workaround that Samsung bug ?

Thank you very much where in the menu can I find the option?

I Found it but dosent work

Then provide proper new logs

I have send new one from the Debug upload

The logs are incomplete. You need to enable logs, force kill the app then after it’s restarted by something provide the logs.

Done i have send new one after Restart

The app is not killed in those logs you just remove the activity …
Since you have enabled auto sync on the local provider then a sync may start anytime there’s file changes.

I think this is a miscommunication "I think this is a miscommunication: The app does not crash, but, as seen in the screenshots, opens the playback shown above again and again.

Well you say you force kill the app, I ask you to force kill the app and you do not force kill the app in the logs

So yes there’s a miscommunication … I do not speak german, I do not know what the text at the top says, but this is not from Symfonium and not a standard Android feature either.
