Lyrics Not Updating

Issue description:

  1. edit a lyric inside a FLAC file
  2. resync Symfonium to Jellyfin
  3. check lyric in Symfonium, the new lyrics do not update

  2. Resync Symfonium to Jellyfin
  3. Open lyric in Symfonium, changes not reflected

Your log is empty …

But it’s probably a duplicate and you have offline cached the media and play offline.

Hi Tolriq,

Not sure why my log is empty, I can try again if you like, however, this is part true. I did offline cache the songs, but after I edit the lyric using a tag editor, I cleared all cached files and also ran the following in Symfonium:

-”clear media info cache”
-”clear scraped artists info cache”
-”cleanup internal states”

The old lyric still shows.

Your logs does not contains a sync or an offline cache or a playback of the media. So yes I need logs actually reproducing the issue.

Hi Tolriq,

My apologies for opening this case. It appears the issue is with Jellyfin not udpating lyrics even upon metadata refresh.
