Well, check if Plex forces transcoding on the server side. if that doesn’t seem like the case, just wait for Tolriq.
You are playing files that where offline cached while connected to plex relays.
Plex currently have a bug that will generate invalid mp3s in that case. Remove the file from the cache and cache it again.
Cleared cache. Re added songs to permanent cache while at home. Issue continues.
