Layout spaces inconsistency

Issue description:

Hi,

I’ve been using this app for a week now and I love it. However, there is one thing that bothers me, which is the inconsistency between the pages with the items, as shown in the screenshot.

The pixels in the screenshot are not entirely accurate, but they clarify the issue.

Is this something that can be addressed?

Test V14 in beta but since everything is configurable there will be cases where it happens.

Why do you suggest Test V14 in beta? Does it contain specific fixes for this alignment issue?
Edit: I read the changelog, will check it out, thank you.
Edit 2: I’ve tested V14, but unfortunately, the alignment issue persists and cannot be changed. I really hope this can be addressed in a future update.

Also, while the content is configurable, the spacing here isn’t. Since I can’t adjust margins manually, shouldn’t the app ensure they are consistent across all screens?"

The margins are supposed to be consistent between similar pages.

The home is a special cases due to the titles and all the special stuff.
The other pages have smaller margins to allow more visible content.

With that said if you find differences on similar pages in v14, please report them precisely.

“The home is a special cases due to the titles and all the special stuff.”
I can understand.

“With that said if you find differences on similar pages in v14, please report them precisely.”
I did find differences in v14 as well, but I realized that it is not specific to the pages, but rather the view types. The “List” view seems to differ from all the rest (Landscape overlay, Grid, Grid card, etc.).

So here a precisely report with a few examples:

Sorry for being so nit-picky. Im a designer, cant help to not see these things.

Well I’m not a designer and you have no idea the time I loose non stop trying to make things perfect and build this app

So I gladly take the help. And if you have free time I’d need some help with colors extractions and overlays and f…g text readability with that

I’ll check again the lists, it was changed in v14 for consistency in home and had side effect on the non home part.

I can imagine :upside_down_face:

I’m afraid I won’t be able to help with the design/UI parts for now, I’m very busy with other projects at the moment.

I see its fixed in the new update. Thank you for being so fast!
I love it

Well if you have time some day  Nothing too fancy, but recurrent ask for full background colors in some pages and accessibility is hard with that

I will let you know!

Is it something you can already send me with instructions how?

Actually that’s more your instructions that I need

See for example the 2 requests that are similar :

The problem is that since everything is configurable in Symfonium and the primary color is already possibly used in the page, I can’t just take the primary color and apply it as background / overlay.

Need to figure out the kind of colors that won’t kill the eyes to extract that still ensure that the primary color can be seen and primary container and all the texts.

So this is a mix of color selection and accessibility. I find some of the examples in the second case making the text unreadable, and for the first the color is way too flashy, specially for a dark theme, I’ve seen tons of complains about the apple addition of that full color background.

(Btw, thanks for the explanation)
