Large media queue is overwritten after switching to a smaller queue

Steps to reproduce
Shuffle the entire music library to create a large playback queue.
Start playing a smaller queue (e.g. an album or playlist).
Attempt to return to the original large queue.
Additional information
When I create a large playback queue (for example, by shuffling my entire music library), then start playing a smaller queue (such as a single album), the original large queue is lost.
