Currently using the on-screen and on-steering wheel controls when using Symfonium on Android Auto, pressing forward or back jumps to next or previous entire track. It would be great if users were able to jump ahead or back 10 seconds within the current track as well. Perhaps a single press could be 10 seconds forward or back and a double press could be to jump an entire track?
Problem solved
No way to navigate time within a track.
Brought benefits
Better control over listening experience in Android Auto.
And the steering wheel buttons are hard-linked to Skip Previous and Skip Next, and when those are turned off and not shown, the physical buttons do nothing. As suggested above, if Android Auto can be programmed this way, have trouble tap and single tap each work, for skip track vs. skip 30 sec.
One can remap the previous and next buttons in the headset settings, but you still only have a single choice. What I was suggesting is that a single tap and a double tap on the previous and next buttons on the steering wheel have two different effects. The single, double, and triple tap headphone settings don’t seem to apply to the steering wheel << and >> buttons.
