I’m asking because I unfortunately do not have any backups at all. So I was wondering if there was a way I could install the fixed version and still have all my data.
I misread the question. Yes, you can just install the fixed APK over the existing versions, without losing any data.
That version isn’t on the Play Store and would be subject to the same delay we have with 15B1.
Installing the fixed version retains your data. And you should still be able to update from the Play Store once 15B1 is available (though you will have to manually click update).

So I don’t have to uninstall the app right? It just installs over it?
Correct, I misread. Don’t uninstall anything, just update to the 14.1.2 and you will keep everything intact.
