Usually, the ‘Up Next’ preset string on Now Playing displays
track - artist - album
but sometimes (with no pattern as far as I can tell) just displays the track name. It remains like this across all tracks until Symfonium if force closed, as far as I can tell, and then goes back to normal.
Here is screenshots of how it looks with the anomoly/glitch, and then after being force closed:
The same problem occurs when launching media from the smart playlist, whether by tapping an individual song on the list or by pressing the play/shuffle etc. Buttons at the top.
So let’s say I launch Track A from the smart playlist.
Track B is just listed as ‘Track B’ in up next string.
If I then navigate to Track B, either by pressing ‘next track’ or by selecting it from the queue, up next only displays ‘Track C’.
However, if I return to Track A, by using either the ‘previous track’ button, or by selecting it in the queue, the full details of ‘Track A - Artist A - Album A’ are displayed in the up next.
The same behaviour happens for any track that has been loaded by the player. For example, then jumping to Track F, and then using the ‘previous track’ button twice, to navigate to track D, would display the full details of ‘Track E - Artist E - Album E’ in the up next string, and the same would occur for the next track, since both had previously been loaded by the player.
If instead I had selected Track F from the queue, and then used the queue to jump back to Track D, up next would only display ‘Track E’, since Track E had never been loaded, but upon navigating to Track E, it would display the full details of ‘Track F - Artist F - Album F’ in the up next string.
Hope this is clear, if you have any questions to narrow down the problem I’m happy to help
