Issue description
Album image cache/persistence is not behaving consistently lately.
• Tried building my cache by enabling “Automatic Image Cache” on provider settings, removed the provider and added again, synced, no images were fetched overnight aside from the ones present in the home screen
• Then tried “force” the caching by scrolling thru the album library to trigger the caching, partially successful, some images still disappear at random after opening the app after a while/next day. Most of the missing ones are animated webp.
The constant reloading of images are chewing through the data plan as result. (turned of images loading on mobile and metered for now)
I’ll attach a log where the fetching by scrolling thru the library happened and a second one with a sync request as it runs.
I can and will provide any additional specific scenario log if needed.

Steps to reproduce
Via provider settings:
- Sync the library
- Wait for images to be fetched after sync
Via manually triggering
- Enable persistent image cache
- Scroll the album list
- Fetch the images
- Close the app
- Some* images are fetched over again
